Basically, this is a short recap to remind you (if needed) the tell-tale signs that you're in the wrong relationship, in a relationship which cannot last in the long term and once this is confirmed, how to end the relationship before you start cheating on each other.
Here is what we think of the signs that they have listed.
Your friends don’t trust him
This is a tricky one as sometimes, your friends might be jealous or there might be a bad feeling which is not a sign that your relationship is doomed. The opposite is also true. You can be with someone that all your friends adore....and he is cheating on you or she is seeing someone else behind your back....
When you are under the influence of the magic love potion, in other words, you're in love and all is well in a perfect world, you forget to see the reality of the relationship so it's time to listen to friends and family and see their point of view. They generally mean well.
He/she puts you down in front of people
A joke at the right moment might be ok. A bit of banter is ok. Making you feel useless is not ok. If this happens a few times in front of friends and family, then it's definitely time to end the relationship. Perhaps you should do that in front of his friends and see how he likes it. Good advice. We like this one and yes, it's important to take note when this happens and how it makes you feel.
His mates/her friends have warned you off him
Listen to them. They mean well and try to protect you and protect their friends. It's a sign that things are already complicated so it is not likely to go smoothly in future. A rocky relationship for sure so be ready for the consequences.
He/She reminds you of one of your ex partners
This is a tell-tale warning signs so think carefully about behaviour patterns you recognise from the past. It could be bad news if the ex was a sour story. It could also be that you are looking for something that it's not in this relationship.
He/she refuses to meet your parents or introduce you to family
If he's avoiding meeting your parents, it probably means one of two things: He doesn't want to commit to you or he's trying to hide something. Basically, if this is repeated a few times when your parents are over or when he's parents are around, this is a sign of lies and it's best to end the relationship.
You’ve caught him snooping on your emails
If there's no trust in the relationship, you can keep seeing that partner and building a future. His he cheating on you and getting paranoid?
He won't tell you who his texts are from
I can't stand it when men do this. They wait till you leave the room to look at text when you've heard it bip. It's a sign of lies.
He won't add you as a friend on Facebook
He must be hiding something. If there's no trust in the relationship.....he needs to accept what you will see on his page and who he's friends with....
He buys you flowers every day
Does this ever happen for real? When he starts buying you flowers every week, you know he's up to no good. He's looking to take your suspicion away....
Basically, if you see one or more of these signs in your new relationship....it's a sign of lies and cheating.
