While Cheryl Cole is recovering from Malaria, and trying to put some weight back on to look sexy again, her soon to be ex-husband, Ashley Cole attended Sol Campbell's wedding at the weekend. It was meant to be a good party but did not go so well for cheating husband Ashley. The football star had just returned from a holiday in Los Angeles when he attended the wedding and was booed when he arrived at the wedding of his ex-Arsenal teammate Sol Campbell. Some guests at the church in Northumberland booed Ashley as he entered the church but he is well trained to ignore this on the pitch and he ignored them and walked straight to his seat.
The Chelsea defender, 29, did not seem too bothered by the hostile reaction as he arrived at St Andrew’s Church in Corbridge, Northumberland. It did not spoil the rest of the wedding day.
The welcome for the bride and groom was much better! Sol Campbell, 35, was marrying interior designer Fiona Barratt and they were cheered by the guests who obviously only wanted to annoy Ashley Cole. Amongst the wedding guests was another cheating husband - chef Ainsley Harriot and England captain Rio Ferdinand.
